Dieter
Fuchs, born in Innsbruck in 1952, plays an important role in the city of
Innsbruck as an artistic personality and has been present with numerous solo
exhibitions since 1967 until today.
From the
mid-1980s to the mid-1990s he was an essential member of the Cologne art scene,
as evidenced by his exhibitions in Cologne, Maastricht, Asperen, Aachen,
Hamburg, Wuppertal and Mannheim. Collaborations with prominent German
contemporaries are an essential part of his work. Long-standing friendships
with Martin Kippenberger, Walter Dahn and others were the basis for joint
exhibitions.
