Born 1964 in Kufstein (Tyrol, Austria), lives and
works in Vienna. In 1983, Sandbichler started studying art at Art Students
League in New York. He continued his studies at the University of Applied Arts
Vienna in 1984 with Prof. Wander Bertoní and finished his degree in the class
of Bruno Gironcoli at Accademy of Applied Arts Vienna in 1991. Numerous
residencies abroad: Berlin, Tokyo, Sri Lanka. From 2007—2013 Member of the
Board of the Vienna Secession Artists’ Association.
