We are pleased to present works by Sarah Bechter, Éva Bodnár, Thomas Feuerstein, Julia Haugeneder, Michael Kienzer, and Lukas Thaler.
The Sculpture Project 2024, initiated by viennacontemporary and JP Immobilien, was awarded to Lukas Thaler for his work seating variations (Bench #1, #2, #3), which will be unveiled during this year’s fair. With his innovative approach to public sculpture, Thaler convinced the jury. His engraved limestone objects function both as seating elements and as a conceptual reflection on permanence, interaction, and transformation.
