Dieter Fuchs plays an important role in the city of Innsbruck as an artistic personality. In his show HEADLINES (usw.) a selection of works on all kinds of paper will be on display, documenting the development of Dieter Fuchs’ work over the last 45 years. The drawings were created daily, for hours in a disciplinary ritual, taking place in coffee houses and other public places. On the occasion of the exhibition an homonymous book will be published, accompanied by a 20-page text written by Herbert Fuchs, who is Dieter’s twin brother and has critically observed his work for decades.
